Gogoal Hydro Pvt. LTD. has achieved another milestone by handing over of second unit of Mohammadpur HEP of Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam on full load with grid for commercial operation well before the scheduled completion date. This machine was completely renovated, modernised and upgraded to generate power 10% higher than the rated capacity with state of art technology and international quality . Customer has appreciated the quality and delivery.

Gogoal Hydro Pvt. LTD., Haridwar had put its footprint in International market by achieving an another milestone by successfully commissioning of two units on 24-12-2012 & 26-12-2012 at Varzob-I Hydro Electric Plant in Tajikistan (A breakaway country of Soviet Union).
These two existing defunct units have been Renovated, Modernized and Upgraded from 3.67 MW each to 4.75 MW each and thus had increased the capacity of Hydro Electric project from 7.34 MW to 9.5 MW in record time by deploying a team of experts from Haridwar (India) and had worked there in a very adverse conditions particularly in winter where temperature was -5oC to -10oC.
The inauguration of this Renovated, Modernized and Upgraded power house was done jointly by Honourable Minister of Energy and Industry Mr. Gul Sherali, Government of Tajikistan and H.E. Mr. Asith Bhattacharjee, Ambassador of India at Tajikistan.
During inaugural speech Minister of Tajikistan had appreciated the Quality and Delivery of the project completion by M/s Gogoal Hydro Pvt. LTD., a company selected by Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (A Govt. of India Undertaking) for this work.

Gogoal hydro Power have been entrusted with work of Material Handling, Erection, testing and commissioning of two no. Hydro machines of 4.75 MW each at Tajakistan, by BHEL Power Sector Northern Region.
It is first international venture by Gogoal Hydro Power and involved very complex logistics in term of Man-Power, equipment, T&P etc. as nothing industrial is available locally and every small item had to be arranged from India.
Work involved was to dismantle existing two no 3.67 MW units including concrete embedded spiral casing and draft tube of Varzob HEP located at outskirt of capital DUSHANBE and in operation since 1931.Work also involved receipt of new power plant equipment supplied by BHEL Bhopal and installation,testing and commissioning of new equipment, with modern automatic control system.
Site operations started on 12/12/11. First Unit was successfully Synchronized with grid on -2/11/12.Second Unit put on in mechanical run on 11th Dec 2012 and expected to be synchronized shortly.Erection and commissioning both the units completed ahead of schedule by working round the clock by dedicated staff of Go-Goal Hydro Power.
Prime Minister of Republic of Tajakistan visited Varzob HEP on 9th December and appreciated renovation and modernization work being done at Varzob HEP.
